ISTAA - a platform of growth - International Sports Travel Association ISTAA met in Barcelona

The ISTAA 3rd Annual General Meeting took place in Barcelona at Petit Palace Museum Hotel on the 28th of November 2011.
The main goal for ISTAA is to fill the world with ISTAA members and build a global organization. Due to the large number of potential members who did not meet the basic criteria listed in ISTAA Rules & Regulations in 2010, the Board of Directors has decided to introduce 3 categories of membership:

Active membership (have to meet basic criteria)
Associate membership ( with minimum 3 recommendations from approved members, minimum 5 years of continuous sports travel agency activity, solid insurance or bank guarantee )
ISTAA’s Partners (sponsors and supporters of ISTAA)

Sports - the way to develop travel businesses - International Sports Travel Association ISTAA is going to meet in Tel Aviv

ISTAA , one of the world's fastest growing networked alliances of independent travel agencies specialized in sports travel is going to meet on 2^nd Annual Meeting in Tel Aviv on October 25^th 2010.

ISTAA members meet once a year and hold an Annual General Meeting in conjunction with an annual conference at the location of one of the members.

“The program for delegates includes Sports Travel Agencies Exchange Workshops and presentations of sports events representatives. Sports travel professionals: executive directors and CEOs of national sports travel agencies and tour operators will attend the business-to-business program. On October 25^th, during second Annual Meeting in Tel Aviv, Members will take under common consideration several issues and open a discussion on joint actions and key tasks for the coming years, focused on cooperation regarding sports events in years 2011 and 2012, consolidation and increased cooperation among ISTAA members. Now, after 1 year of activity, ISTAA has grown by over 400%. This is tremendous progress, impressive and telling a lot about demand in the sports travel sector”- said President of ISTAA Mr. Zbigniew Wróbel.
